When you book moving help, you should know exactly what you get for your money. With a serious moving company, far more than just carrying is included – the moving van, fuel, equipment and full insurance are a given. Here we go through precisely what is included in our moving help, step by step.
Arrival, van and equipment
A fixed price includes bringing a suitably sized moving van, fuel and all the necessary equipment – sack trucks, carrying straps, furniture blankets, lashing straps and a pallet lifter. So you do not need to rent a van or buy protective materials separately.
The team arrives punctually at the agreed time, goes through the job with you and starts loading safely and systematically so nothing is damaged during transport.
Carrying, transport and unloading
The core of the moving help is that our experienced team carries out, transports and carries in your belongings – whatever the stairs, lift or tight spaces. Heavy lifts such as sofas, appliances and wardrobes are handled by trained staff with the right technique.
At the new address we place furniture in the right room according to your labelling, so you avoid moving heavy things around yourself afterwards.
Assembly and add-ons
Dismantling and reassembly of beds, wardrobes and other furniture is normally included in the moving help. If you want more help you can easily add packing help, move-out cleaning, storage or removal of the old – all gathered with a single company.
Insurance and the RUT deduction
All moving help is carried out insured under Bohag 2010, with liability insurance covering your belongings throughout the move. Should anything be damaged against expectation, it is compensated according to industry rules.
Because moving help qualifies for RUT, 50 percent of the labour cost is applied directly on the invoice. You only pay your half – we handle the rest with the Tax Agency.
