How the RUT deduction works
RUT stands for Cleaning, Maintenance and Laundry and is a tax reduction from the Swedish Tax Agency. For moving services and move-out cleaning you can deduct 50% of the labour cost.
- You don’t need to apply – we apply the deduction straight on the invoice.
- The deduction applies to the labour cost, not to materials or the moving van.
- The maximum amount is SEK 75,000 per person and year.
- You must own or rent the home and be registered as resident in Sweden.
